Students will learn basic to intermediate programming syntax. Each years students will get an introduction to programming covering binary, history, terminology and interesting facts. Students will also research a programmer of their choice where they will write and present their findings. The first programming language is covered is python due to its simplicity. After the students have shown they are proficient in Python, we will move into Java. By the end of the course students will be using Java Swing to create executable programs.
