Any Day Learning Videos

What can you do at home to learn?

  • As we wrap up the school year, we will be focusing on things that can and should be done daily at home.

  • One of those things is read. It is good practice to read daily, whether or not in school.

  • The next thing is getting outside. This is good for the mind, body, and soul (kids & adults!).

  • The last thing I ask the kids to do is learn to do something around the house to help out. It is so important to instill responsibility and pride.

A little science!

  • Hello! A large part of learning in early childhood is figuring out how the world works. This is science! Let's do a fun experiment today.

  • You will need: clear container with lid, water, vinegar, dish soap.

  • Optional: food coloring, glitter.

Flashlight fun!

  • Hello! Let's do a fun project today with a flashlight! This is a fun project to break up any paper packet work.

  • Most importantly - Have fun!

Reading when you can't read.

  • What happens when you can't find someone to read a story to you? You make up your own story! You don't need to read the words to tell a story! I will tell you a story today using a book, but not the exact words. We will then practice retelling the story by focusing on the beginning, middle, and end.

Rhyme Time!

  • Today we will review rhyming words. This is something we have been practicing for a long time. I have a fun way for you to practice today.

Mother's Day Project

Letter U

  • Today's video will review our last vowel, the letter U. We will do a silly project of a Unicorn in Underwear! This is a fun and goofy way to remember the two sounds the u makes.

Letter W & Worms!

  • Welcome back from break! Let's learn about the letter W! What better way to do that than with worms! We will make a worm home and a worm craft today.

Bears

  • Do you feel like a bear coming out of hibernation? When the winter thaws I always get a renewed energy.

  • Today's video is all about bears. We will roar, sing, and play a game.

Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle

  • In April we often hear about ways to reduce, reuse, and recycle. Today we will plant some seeds using an old milk carton. We will also make a recycled kite.

5 Senses & April Fool's

  • Let's explore the 5 senses. We will make a keypad to practice our phone numbers, make a mustache straw to do some taste testing, and make a recipe for cornstarch putty.

Unicorns!

Patterns & Trains

  • It is Friday!! That saying does not have the same effect it used to, but it can still be a fun day. Today my daughters help me show you some fun activities all around the theme of trains! Have fun and keep learning.

  • Today's skills are large motor muscles, mathematic patterning, letter names and sounds, engineering (double meaning), and imagination.

Kindness and Teamwork

  • It is so important to follow the Wildcat 4 wherever you are - Be responsible, respectful, safe, and kind. Today I will talk about kindness with a wonderful book and some ideas for you.

The Moon
