This week we're going to continue being inspired by the artist Jeff Koons. Follow along with the how to draw a balloon dog video. (I would suggest using a pencil instead of a sharpie.)
You can use the 9x12 piece of paper that was sent home along with the oil pastels to color. Focus on the highlights and shadows using different values of ANY color you choose! You can use white and black to help lighten or darken your color. For the background I want you to choose anything that will make your balloon dog POP! Not literally POP, but stand out = )
Once finished you can add a picture to the Google Classroom assignment or email me a picture. I can't wait to see your finished project! Have fun!
This week we're learning about artist Jeff Koons. Watch the first short video about artist Jeff Koons and then watch the second video to make something fun!
If the links to the right don't work, try these links instead.
This week we're going to learn about Vincent Van Gogh! He's my absolute FAVORITE artist! Watch the Mati and Dada video first and then follow along with my video to create our project! Happy creating!
This week we're going to learn about the artist Piet Mondrian. Watch the video to learn about Piet, it's a little bit loner, but your project is very short! Once finished with the video check out my video to get started on our collaborative project!
This week we're going to learn about artist Wayne Thiebaud. You might get hungry while you learn about him and his art! Watch the video about him first, then grab your art supplies and watch my video on how to create our project!
Check out the videos to the left to learn about Pablo Piccaso and how to create our Picasso guitars! You should have all the supplies you need. If you do need something, please let me know! Have fun creating!
Watch the video to the right to see what to do for our next project, Dali Stretched Animals! This is a super fun project! I'm excited to see what you come up with. Be sure to send a picture or bring your project in!
Check out the video to the left to learn about surrealism. Our focus will be on the artist Salvador Dali.
Watch the video to the right about Yayoi Kusama and then follow along in my video lesson. If you need additional supplies send me an email and I'll get the all packed up!
This project will probably take 2-3 class times. You can finish it all in one sitting or take your time. Start by watching the Mati & Dada episode about Wassily Kandinsky. Once you finish that, you can jump on over to the video lesson.
Please submit a picture through Google classroom or email once the project is finished. Also, when you are able, please drop off the finished project so I can display it in the halls with their classmates.
