New business-
Goals- CEP – drives the instruction in our building. No hard copies yet because we are trying to figure out how to measure data –

- 2nd goal- Chronic absenteeism. Improve our attendance
- 3rd goal- By June 2021 10% increase from 25%-35% children with IEP receive a 3 on their TC reading benchmark. A lot of guided reading, OG (phonics program), logging onto remote learning everyday, following the standards, possibly Saturday academy, parent support.
- 4th goal - All students will increase in 53-63% in math measured by MAP assessment
Discussion around MAP testing – google meet to send testing code – we will have an open google meet to test each class so the child is with the teacher in the class while taking the test
In person students MAP testing will take place in school
Just grade 3-5
- 5th goal- By June 2021 8% increase 39-47% ELL achieving a level 3 or 4 – action plan is being prepared
- 6th Goal- Writing quality IEP (more guidance to come)
- 7th goal - Students will better tolerance race, religion, gender to decrease 28% - 18% ORRS data A23 (used a slur based on perception of race or gender)
COVID update:
2 positive cases in the same family – that is why we didn’t close. They were under deep cleaning. Building is always getting cleaned. 93 children were tested and all teachers. No covid cases currently in our school.
**Parents can elect to go back blended starting today and ends the 15th of November.
Originally they said multiple opportunities to go back but they back peddled and this is the only window to come back blended.
If enrollment stays low moving cohort from ABC to AB (2 week cycle) Decision wont be made until window closes.
12:1:1 – we are able to bring our 12:1 children back every single day.
SLT must approve this is right for the school.
Teachers approve on SLT
Parents- Vergara, Munday, Rivera, Qadri, Laino, Haronitis - all agree and support the decision – this will benefit the 12:1 students
As soon as we find out we will send an email of the outcome
Open Forum:
Munday – Q- What if they say they are coming in but decide to go remote? What happens with the numbers?
A- Unfortunately, they have that opportunity.
Vergara- Q- Thanksgiving, what is the protocol for people gathering for thanksgiving? Will there be communication to the parents about this situation?
A- The testing is random, everyone must be honest on their health screening , maybe the chancellor will send out a letter -
Motion to close – Ms. Munday has the motion to close.
We get a check at the end of June so please sign your time sheets next time you are in the building.
