Global Scholars

The Global Scholars Program is designed to improve global learning across the curriculum in an effort to prepare all students to be life-ready with global competence. Students in the program work toward earning a Certificate of Global Competence, which is accredited by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction. This Certificate serves as a college, career, and community readiness talent marker recognizing students' language, intercultural and global competence. 

To achieve this Certificate, students will take courses with a global focus, participate in activities to increase their cultural literacy, and complete service hours connected to a global community or global issue. The program is open to anyone in grades 9-12, though joining earlier gives students more time to complete the requirements for the Certificate of Global Competence!
