For iPhone, Google provides a guidebook on how to Get started with Google on iPhone.
From the Apple App Store, the essential Google Services used in the Conversation are:
Google Classroom, structuring day-to-day schedules
Google Chat, particularly for Spaces for Chat where group threads on iPhone and iPad are followed.
Google Drive, easing the finding of shared folders on iPhone and iPad
Google Meet for video calls
For Chrome browser, instructions are available to Download & install Google Chrome browser for iPhones and iPads.

Use Chrome with multiple profiles on iPhone and iiPad, to keep your lab.csrp.institute account separate from any personal accounts
Not necessary as mobile apps for the Conversation, but potentially helpful as alternates from the computer desktop are:
Gmail (or you can add Add an email account to your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch)
Google Calendar ( or you can Add Google Calendar events to Apple Calendar)
Google Docs for shared text notes
Google Sheets for shared class schedules
Google Slides for shared presentations
Safari and Chrome both originally were built on the same Webkit rendering engine. Google forked Webkit into Blink as part of the open source Chromium project, but has to maintain Chrome for iOS on Webkit due to Apple App Store Review Guidelines.
Firefox is built on the Gecko rendering engine. Microsoft Edge is built on the Blink rendering engine and Chromium codebase.
On macOS Catalina 10.15, there are instructions to install Google Chrome , and enable a feature to Sign in & sync in Chrome across devices

For Google Workspace, accounts on lab.csrp.institute, Google "provides one-to-one support for Chrome core functionality".
Firefox works without client side encryption in Meet, nor offline access to apps.
Safari and Microsoft Edge work without offline access to apps.
There's a playlist for a Google Meet Course, but advanced features (e.g. recording, livestreaming, whiteboarding) aren't available.
For most participants, video #4, "Google Meet: Manage audio and video" might be most relevant
Sometime before a session on your computer, you can self-check your browser configuration to Connect your video & audio with https://meet.google.com .
With a Chrome browser on a computer desktop, finding the tab with Google Chat can be annoying, when many tabs are active.
An icon in the dock/taskbar panel/ will show up as a Progressive Web Apps, if you Install the Google Chat standalone app.
The least familiar app for most people will be Spaces for Google Chat, announced with significant enhancements between September 2023 and March 2024.
