I am an art teacher because art is my passion, and I believe that all can benefit from it.

I received my B.F.A. in Advertising Art from Columbia College Chicago, and my MAT in Art Education (K-12) from Chicago State University. Some of my art training includes: Drawing, Photography, Art History, Typography, Ceramics, Painting, Printmaking and Graphic Design. Besides having the educational background and knowledge necessary for art education, I understand the central concepts, methods of inquiry, and structures of the discipline and how to create learning experiences that make the content meaningful to all students.
