Celebrating Easter
My family and I celebrate Easter every year. We go to my grandparent's house to eat lunch and do a Easter egg hunt. Easter is one of my favorite holidays because I get to have a big Easter egg hunt.
When I go to my grandparent's house we do a big Easter egg hunt that has about 50-100 eggs, eat lunch, and open my gifts that I get. First, we eat a nice filling lunch. We usually have ham, mashed potatoes, corn, and ice cream cake for dessert. After lunch I find the eggs that they hide and it usually takes about thirty minutes to find all of them, but sometimes everyone who hid them forget where they are, so we leave them in their property until my grandpa mowes his yard. After I find all the eggs I open them and there is usually candy and money. I also open the gifts they get me. They usually get me small gifts. but this year insted of small gifts they are getting me something that costs a lot since they don't want to give me little things that I won't use. Finally, I go home and play with the gifts my grandparents get me.
Easter is one of my favorite holiday because I get to spend time with family. What is your favorite holiday?
Christmas
Christmas is one important holiday to my family because we get to see my cousins and grandparents that live in Hershey, Pennsylvania which is about an hour and a half away from my house, and we get to see my grandparents that only live two minutes away from my house. It is also important to me because it is the time of year when I get to see my family the most since my parents and I are always busy. Christmas is very important to me.
