Excursion- Short Talk Tour at Zoo!
We are delighted to announce an excursion in conjunction with this symposium! The goal of this excursion is to gain a deeper understanding of how the academic and cutting-edge research shared at the symposium can be applied in practice.
With the kind cooperation of the Kyoto City Zoo, our distinguished invited researchers will give short talks in front of the zoo's exhibits!
This year, the excursion will feature three species: elephants, lynx, and chimpanzees. In front of each exhibit, a researcher specializing in the same or a closely related species will give a talk about their research.
Participants will rotate among these three talks, offering the opportunity to engage with the invited researchers in a more casual setting, closer than in the symposium, and to discuss both their research and the animals themselves.
Of course, before and after the talks, you are also free to enjoy exploring the zoo!
See below for the registration link and more info!
