Kudos for Kids is Powered by Flockworks

Creative Art Programs

Flockworks is a non-profit organization in Fort Bragg, California whose mission is to grow love for art through hands-on programs. We are helping to shape the future, grow happy humans, build community, and create resilience.

We mobilize resources, talent, and material goods for artists and teachers to support collaborative art programs and creative initiatives within our district schools and community. Our efforts have provided a continuum of art education for students of all ages. Thanks to contributions, grants, and individual supporters, Flockworks has successfully fulfilled its mission for over 15 years.

About the ASES Grant

About the ELO-Program

Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELO-P)

The ELO-P was established by Gavin Newsom starting in the 21-22 FY as an additional state-funded program.  The Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELO Program or ELO-P) provides funding for afterschool and summer school enrichment programs for kindergarten (including transitional kindergarten) through sixth grade.

“Expanded Learning” means before school, after school, summer, or intersession learning programs that focus on developing the academic, social, emotional, and physical needs and interests of pupils through hands-on, engaging learning experiences. It is the intent of the California State Legislature that expanded learning programs are pupil-centered, results driven, include community partners, and complement, but do not replicate, learning activities in the regular school day and school year.
