"Overall, IB was a HUGE help in college. It taught me how to balance my schedule (it was rocky at first), the double periods helped me get used to the longer class time in college and in general, it taught me how to think on a higher level which (so far) is making college a breeze. Although you have to be careful with the workload. It's not too bad but every now and then, you would probably have to stay up to finish your work up. When I was in IB, I wasn't the best (not the worst though, I want to make that clear) at keeping a solid schedule to get my work done on time so eventually there became a group of friends and I called the 3 am gang and we pretty much stayed up late to get all our work done but EVENTUALLY, we started to get our own schedules going as we started to get used to IB, so staying up late wasn't too much of an issue anymore.
