The Carlyle PECT class, led by teacher Amanda Fruend, enjoyed a visit to Community Link in Breese on November 18 to learn more about potential employment opportunities in the future.
The PECT classes from Carlyle, Sandoval and South Central HS toured Kaskaskia College and enjoyed a presentation by Terri Freeman from the Disability Supports Office on November 14.

The High School Transition Resources/Job Fair held May 9, 2025 at Irving School was a resounding success!
Kaskaskia College provided their Mobile Manufacturing Lab to allow students to gain hands-on experiences with various trades, such as welding and robotics. It was a very popular stop during the fair!
Kaskaskia College was well represented by various departments both inside and outside of the building. We are grateful for their support!
Vendors filled the auditorium and Bond Room at Irving School to provide information and resources to students, families and district staff that support students with disabilities. Many wonderful connections were made throughout the day!
