ENGLISH II - 2 semesters; 1 credit--10 This course focuses on applying the concepts and principles of writing, research, and literature. Students will interpret short stories, novels, drama, poetry, and non-fiction essays. Students will show an increased proficiency in writing and analytical skills through informative, descriptive, narrative, persuasive, and evaluative activities. Students will enhance grammar, spelling, and vocabulary skills through a variety of classroom and independent activities.
