JROTC allows students to develop leadership, teamwork, and citizenship skills through structured, hands-on activities. Students build confidence and discipline while learning about civic responsibility, goal setting, and career pathways inboth military and civilian fields.
This class goes into a detailed look at the history of planes and flight with a focus on the principles of flight, basic aeronautics, aircraft motion, and controlled, powered flight. Fitness is mixed in with competitions and games to promote good mental and physical health.Â

Students will learn about the discoveries of early astronomers and their ability to shape our understanding of the universe and our place in it. The class explores issues critical to travel in the upper atmosphere such as orbits and trajectories, unmanned satellites, and space probes. Fitness is mixed in to increase focus on communication, team building, and individual excellence.
