Due to Covid-19, testing for the spring and summer of 2020 were cancelled. Many colleges and universities know this, and therefore have made the decision to NOT REQUIRE standardized tests scores for admissions.
Right now testing dates and locations, and fee waivers are available but are tentative. The processes are being created for the new systems needed to accommodate for the pandemic.
As updates are available, I will post them here.
For those students who do not qualify for a fee waver, Kamehameha Schools has (for the past few years) provided:
ONE (1) standardized test (SAT or ACT) assistance payment (directly to test centers) per KSHawaii student
TWO (2) college application payments (directly to college/university)
ONE (1) NCAA application fee (directly to NCAA)
We are ready to assist students with SAT payment!
Students will need to provide the counseling administrative assistant (Aunty Kessel Kua) with their USERNAME & PASSWORD
Currently Kamehameha Schools Hawaii is not planning to test in the FALL of 2020. Seniors should register to take the regular Saturday test in Hilo!
This year has been very challenging for students trying to take the SAT® and ACT®! That's why we've decided to make our upcoming SAT® and ACT® Review Courses FREE for any who wants to take it. Students can join John Moscatiello and Alayna Vernon to learn the strategies and content they need to prepare for the exam.
