1. NAVIANCE

We are using Naviance as our Management Tool to track and organized College Applications and Requirements.
Add the colleges you wish to apply to to your:

"Colleges I'm Applying To" list

2. APPLY

You are NOT applying to colleges in Naviance. You will:

A. Apply through Common App
B. Apply directly through the university/college online
C. Apply directly to the university/college using a paper application

***Once we link Common App to Naviance, you will see your application updates in your College's I'm Applying To list. For colleges that you are applying to directly, you will need to update Naviance (Check the box: Completed Application) once you have completed the application.***

3. Request TRANSCRIPTS

For “Colleges I’m Applying To” - Click on “Request Transcripts” on bottom right of page and request

For colleges that require hard copies/do not accept digitally - Follow the REQUESTING TRANSCRIPT IN NAVIANCE direction document

For scholarships - Follow the REQUESTING TRANSCRIPT IN NAVIANCE direction document

4. Request RECOMMENDATIONS

Request recommendations from KS Staff directly through NAVAINCE (on the Colleges I'm Applying To page)

Requesting recommendations from people in the community (Coaches, Pastors, Mentors etc.) is done on your own:
I suggest crafting a well written email requesting a letter of recommendation and attaching:

• Information on what the recommendation is for (college - general or specific, scholarship - general or specific)

• a Resume

• Recommendation Information: Letter of Recommendation Student Information

5. UPLOAD Required Documents

Naviance "Colleges I'm Applying To" List will show you what documentation you will need to upload (Transcripts and Recommendations will be uploaded by staff or recommender, unless otherwise stated).

6. CONNECT Common App - Naviance
