This can be found in your child's Canvas account.
Parent Observer Notifications
Once you have created your parent observer account, you can receive your own notifications for your child's Canvas courses.
Under Account Notifications you will select which notifications you would like to receive and when.

Once you have created your parent observer account, you can send and receive messages to and from your child's kumu via the Inbox Tool or via Email.

Students receive Canvas Training called "Mākaʻikaʻi Through Canvas"
This student course provides an introduction to key functions of Canvas to:
Keep track of the work they are assigned by their kumu
Organize their course learning material
View any kumu feedback
Stay in touch with kumu and classmates
Through the course, students also learn interesting information about Pauahi's and Bishop's travels throughout Europe in each of the nine learning modules. A short quiz to check for understanding is included at the end of each module.
