Adoration Chapel Guidelines

Thank you for visiting! Please pray for St Ann parish during your time in adration and keep in mind these guidelines so that all might have the best experience possible!

• Although we are working towards being a perpetual adoration chapel we do not yet have people covering every time slot.

  • Due to this when there are not adorers a veil will be placed over the monstrance.

  • When you enter the chapel if the Monstrance is veiled you may carefully remove the veil and replace the veil after you are finished if there are no adorers following your shift.

  • There is no need to put out the candles or turn off the lights however as Jesus remains present though veiled.

• Please do not eat food in the Chapel although you are welcome to bring in a drink, preferably in a container not likely to spill

• Please be respectful of others and pray quietly unless you are alone or with others who wish to pray or sing out loud together.

• If you wish to pray in any other way or posture that might inconvenience or distract others please refrain from doing so unless others are not present.

• The lights are kept low for those who wish a more contemplative atmosphere but we have a lamp in the back for those in need of more light

• Also there is a bathroom in the sacristy through which you enter if you have need of one.
