St Ann Parish serves those reseident in our parish boundries. If you are intersted in getting married in the Catholic Church but are resident in the parish boundries of another parish, please contact that parish to prepare for the sacrament. The Sacrament of Matrimony requires that at least one member of the couple is a Catholic; both need to be free to marry. Marriage preparation is required as is a workshop on Natural Family Planning. If you want more information on what a Catholic Wedding is and what the ceremony might look like, visit this link.
If you wish to schedule a wedding at St Ann Church first check the St Ann Calendar and make sure that there is a date available.
The suggested donation for a wedding is $500. The link below will give you further information on payment - and if you are unable to pay the full amount - or to pay the full amout at once, we can always work something out.
If you would like to reserve a date and begin the wedding scheduling process with Fr Dominic email the parish secretary and she will find a time that will work . Before your appointment, fill out the following form.
Prenuptial Questionaire (two copies of the form need to be submitted, one for the bride and one for the groom)
This form will be finalized and signed in your meeting and for this reason both prospective spouses must meet with the priest. If both can come at the same time, this is ideal, but if not, both must come in person, even if separately, at some point.
To complete the process we will also need the following documents, which you should work on procuring, although you do not have to have them ready before your appointment. Follow each of the links for more information on on how to obtain this documentation:
Current Baptismal Certificates for both parties (If you are baptised but lack a certificate - you can find a testimonal letter format here)
Certificates of Completion of Marriage Preparation and NFP courses
Any necessary dispensations (for out of state marriages, or if one party of the marriage is not Catholic)
Form for wedding detials must be submitted at least a month before the wedding
