BRIDGING PROGRAMS
A bridging program is a partnership in Canada between two post-secondary institutions that allows students to transfer college credits from one institution to another.
A bridging program student typically holds a two-year college degree and then bridges to obtain a four-year or graduate degree in two to three years. The skills earned from both a diploma & degree make students very marketable for various career pathways.
Colleges and universities have developed some interesting partnerships in recent years, so keep this in mind as you make plans for post-secondary education.
