Year 5 are planning a trip to St Albans Cathedral in June 2026 as part of our Roman topic in History.
In previous years, the children had said that it was the best educational trip they’d been on!
The children will be taking part in role play activities to do with Saint Alban, as well as having an informative guided tour of the spectacular Cathedral.
In the afternoon (weather permitting), there will be an opportunity for us to have a picnic and play time in stunning Verulamium Park. Children may bring money in a secured named wallet for ice cream, however it will be their responsibility to keep it safe.
They will also need to bring their own healthy packed lunch; no sweets or fizzy drinks. Please administer your child with anti-sickness tablets before they come to school if they need it for the coach journey.
We will leave at 9am and aim to return by 3.15pm.
The trip price is £15.60. This includes the coaches, role play workshop and tour of the cathedral.
Payment must be made by early June. If there are insufficient funds, the trip will not be able to go ahead.
If you have any questions, please see your class teacher.
Please provide consent for your child to attend in the "Trips" section of the Arbor App.
