KPEA is the union for certificated, non-supervisory employees of the Kenai Peninsula Borough School District. This includes Teachers, Counselors, School Psychologists, Speech and Language Pathologists, and Certificated Librarians. 

KPESA is the union for non-supervisory support staff of the KPBSD. This includes Custodians, Food Service Employees, Paraprofessionals, Secretaries, Tutors, Non-Certificated Librarians, and more. Certain support staff working closely with District Administration are ineligible due to the nature of their job roles.
