April 19, 2022 - We completed the STEM lab today - the students used their instruments that they built for the challenge and completed the lab worksheets for a grade.

April 11, 2022 - We began a STEM lab today called "Smooth Operator". We read about the history of surgery and how biomedical engineering has changed and improved surgery and medicine today. The students picked partners/groups and began to design a surgical instrument that can removed three objects from a pretend human "body" . Absent students should see me for the worksheets for the lab.

Nov. 4, 2021 - We finished the liquid density lab and BrainPOP work in class. A study guide was handed out for the Chapter 2 Test next Wednesday, Nov. 10th - the study guide is also in Google Classroom under Chapter 2

Nov. 3, 2021 - Today we began a liquid density lab and worked in BrainPOP on density and various science vocabulary definitions.

Oct. 29, 2021 - We read articles in Science World magazine on superstitions and the science behind nightmares and completed a fact and opinion worksheet on the articles.

Oct. 28, 2021 - We watched a Bill Nye video on gravity and completed a fact and opinion worksheet on vampire bats.

Oct. 27, 2021 - We checked the homework and completed two quizzes in the McGraw-Hill website - Earth's Interior vocabulary activity and weekly review - total 11pts.

Oct. 14, 2021 - We did a teacher demonstration lab and completed a lab sheet, read and discussed pp 40 -42 in textbook, completed a Bellringer writing prompt activity.

Oct. 13, 2021 - We began working in Chapter 2 - Earth's Structure, complete the Science Starter Letter I, defined vocabulary on p. 40 in our binder, read pp 4 - 5 Patterns in Nature and completed Getting Ready to Read Statements.

Oct. 12, 2021 - We finished the owl pellet lab, cleaned out our binders from Methods of Science and completed a Science Probe.

Oct. 11, 2021 - We continued to work on the owl pellet lab by completing the lab sheet and making a bone chart.
