Advisory is a class that provides students with the opportunity to have academic support, and guidance throughout their high school career. It is a place that bridges relationships between students, families and the school. It provides students with assistance and time to track progress, and complete Personal Transition Plan (PTP) assignments.
Because the course syllabus contains class codes, it will be posted in Google Classroom. Students and parents, please visit Google Classroom to view the original document.
As a student, you should see Advisory as a way to connect to the school, other students, and to a teacher who will help guide you with such things PTP and academic guidance. Advisory will also focus on relationship building and a place in which you will receive support for your goals.
As a parent, your child’s Advisory teacher may be contacted to address issues concerning attendance, grades, behavior, etc. *Please be sure to access Infinite Campus to view your child’s academic progress and attendance in all classes.
