Rubrics
Collaboration
The rubric focuses on specific aspects of collaboration. The indicators are designed to be simple and accessible to students. The number of rows for this rubric makes it unlikely I would use all of it at once. I may choose to focus on certain rows by project or an entire class might focus on a certain skill.
Essential Skills
These are skills that businesses and schools have identified as necessary to find success in almost every endeavor that people take on. These are base rubrics, each unit will have specific tailored rubrics to meet the requirements that are being looked at.
Knowledge/Thinking
The ability to reason, problem-solve, develop sound arguments or decisions, and create new ideas by using appropriate sources and applying the knowledge and skills of a discipline
Verbal Communication
The ability to effectively communicate knowledge and thinking through speaking by organizing and structuring ideas and using discipline appropriate language and conventions.
Written Communication
The ability to effectively communicate knowledge and thinking through writing by organizing and structuring ideas and using discipline appropriate language and conventions.
