Coach: Novas, Supernovas
I started gymnastics at the age of 10 in a Community Ed Class that was being run by Kathy Nelson, now owner of KAAT’S Gymnastics. I competed recreationally with her until 9th grade where I joined the Kasson-Mantorville High school Gymnastics team which she also coached at the time. I then went on to compete at the collegiate level at UW-River Falls for 3 years until they cut their gymnastics program when we returned from Nationals in Ithaca, New York when I was a junior. I finished my collegiate senior year of gymnastics at UW-Stout.
My coaching career began as a volunteer with Kathy around 12 years of age. I coached through high school, during college and eventually became assistant director of River Falls Gymnastics Club where I coached competitive teams over the years. I made my way back to this area after my husband, Garrett graduated from River Falls and again coached at KAATS before starting my own family. All 4 of our kids are continually involved year round in various sports with Garrett coaching the boys in Football, Basketball and Baseball. I coach the girls in Gymnastics while running them to basketball and soccer as well. Free time? What’s that?!?

My coaching style is based on 3 major points: Strength, Form, and Control. I do my best to ensure the safety of the children and make classes FUN!! I'm very positive, patient, dedicated, and strive to make this the best experience for all! I look forward to many years of watching the children grow and achieve many goals!

I’m a retired gymnast of 12 years, a two-time AAU national qualifier, was voted to an All-Conference Team two years in a row, and helped lead my high school team to the State Championships for the first time in the school's history. I’m a trained and certified USAG coach with over a decade of experience in USAG, XCEL, and AAU organizations. I’m also a ranked USA gymnastics judge in the state of MN. To say I love this sport is an understatement.
Spending most of my life in a gym, I’ve worn various hats. By far, my favorite has involved sports counseling. I have a BS Degree in Community Psychology with an emphasis on Applied Behavior Analysis. I'm passionate about encouraging athletes as they learn and grow through their experience in sports, but doing it in a way that supports their well-being and enhances their emotional intelligence.
I love being outside, creating, and learning new things when I'm not in the gym. I am a wife to my high school sweetheart and a mom of one little boy. Three fun facts about me: I'm ambidextrous, I’ve hiked Angles Landing in Zion National Park, and I can still do the splits!
Assistant Coach: Little Stars, Rising Stars, Shooting Stars
I'm a sophomore at K-M. I got my start in Gymnastics in 2016 here in the youth program. I competed Xcel for 2 years and this is my 3rd year on our KMT Gymnastics Team. I have been a Coach's helper with the youth program for a few years and am now a coach. I have so much fun with kids and want to be a teacher when I grow up.

I was a USAG gymnast for 10 years in Duluth. My speciality was beam and floor where I went to state multiple years in a row. I retired from gymnastics at 16 after a back injury.
I began coaching the varsity team for Faribault High School in November 2015. I was the assistant coach for 5 years and the head coach for 2 years. At Faribault, we took at least one girl to state 5 out of the 7 years.
I teach math at Kasson-Mantorville High School. I coached the Supernovas this fall. This is my first year as the head coach for the Kasson - Mantorville/Triton Team, and I am really excited to grow the high school program!
