MAGA, or the Midwest Area Gymnastics Association, is a competitive gymnastics program that adheres to the National Federation High School’s rules and guidelines for competition and scoring. This ensures that all athletes are judged by a consistent standard, regardless of their experience level.
Gymnasts are evaluated on a 10.0 scoring scale, with specific requirements for each event. If any requirements are not met, the gymnast's routine will begin from a lower start value, with 2.0 being the minimum score an athlete can receive on any event.
Kasson-Mantorville started a MAGA team in the Fall of 2025 with a team of 10 gymnasts. Our MAGA team practices between 4-6 hours per week, and will compete in a local meet one time per month. The season starts in September and concludes in March.
