All Kasson-Mantorville 8th grade students and their parents are eligible to go on the trip. Both Legacy Student Tours and I encourage parents to travel with their children. Although this tour is designed for middle/high school aged students, many of the parents (and even many grandparents) that have attended said they learned a great deal of history, as well as had an incredible time.
How much spending money should we bring on the trip?
How much spending money should we bring on the trip?
Plan on budgeting $20 - $30 per day. ($200 - $300) Many students spend less than $160 for the whole tour. Souvenir purchases & meals will constitute most spending.

What is the difference between a chaperone and a paid adult traveler?
The chaperones on this trip are adults who have the responsibility of supervising ALL of the students, both on and off the bus. The chaperones on the trip are adults who have prior experiences with large groups of students, and can work as a team to ensure the safety and enjoyment of ALL of the students. A paid adult (parent) is free to enjoy the education and opportunities that the trip offers without the added responsibilities of supervising ALL of the students.
