The Building

A staff member will be present at all events to manage concerns related to the building, locking and unlocking, the security system, etc. You can usually find this person near the front office. For urgent situations related to the building, contact Donovan Stewart (See Staff + Leader Contacts).

First Aid Supplies + AED

First Aid kits are located throughout the building, including both kitchens and in the front office cupboard. They are regularly checked and stocked. 

Knox has an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) available for those who are trained to use it in a cardiac emergency. It is located at the base of the south stairs, near the Library. 

Our custodians are trained in first aid procedures.

Fire Emergencies

Volunteers should familiarize themselves with the locations of fire extinguishers and exits, and should be ready to help in an emergency. General fire emergency information can be found in the Leading With Care training page. Your Ministry Leader will guide you and other volunteers you serve with through any additional fire instructions.
