Students have THREE CHOICES of how they want to turn in this assignment. All the expectations expressed in the descriptions below need to be followed. Students only need to complete ONE CHOICE of the three choices. All work will be graded for quality of content (see rubric).
- Students can create a drawing based on all of the amendments
- Create pictures using at least three colors (not pencil) that portray the meaning of the Amendment in picture form.
- Write a sentence about what the amendment means.
- Write 3-4 sentences on the back about why this amendment impacts you.
- Complete a "blog post" on a specific amendment.
- Determine what the amendment is/means.
- Explain the significance of the amendment at the time of its creation. (Root idea and where it came from)
- Describe how that amendment is relevant in the United States today.
- Identify any main ideas from Supreme Court Cases in the past 100 years
- Create a Newspaper publication on the Bill of Rights that would have been in a 1780's American Newspaper.
- Use either LUCIDPRESS (Google Drive) or draw on a piece of paper.
- What is the Bill of Rights? What is the Constitution?
- Students should describe the importance of the amendments being created to their American brethern
- Should American's be excited about these Amendments? What do they mean? How do they impact the everyday American?
