Do You Know What ALL of Your Graduation Requirements Are?
In addition to the 28 credits needed to graduate, students need to show that they're ReadyGrads
What does that mean?
A student can achieve ReadyGrad status in a number of different ways:
Achieve an ACT composite score of 21 (NOT a super score), or a 1060 on the SAT
Complete 4 Early Post-Secondary courses, such as AP, DE, State Dual Credit, or Industry Certifications earned through CTE classes
Complete 2 Early Post-Secondary courses PLUS an industry Certification
Complete 2 Early Post-Secondary courses PLUS a 31 on the ASVAB
Completion of these EPSOs indicates that a student is prepared to successfully complete higher levels of coursework or job training.
What is an EPSO?
EPSO stands for Early Post-Secondary Opportunity. This is any class or exam that allows you to earn a college credit or credential while still in high school. These can be offered through both your academic core courses and through some career and technical education programs.
