About us

Knapdale School is situated in the community of Knapdale, which is located about 10 kms north of Gore by following the eastern side of the Mataura River. We have an excellent view of the Hokonui Mountain Range. Knapdale School has been an integral part of the Knapdale community for over 140 years, where in 2019, we celebrated our 140th Jubilee.

Knapdale School is a decile 7, co educational, state school, catering for years 1 to 8.

The school buildings have been developed and refurbished providing an excellent learning and working environment, currently with three classroom spaces. We also have a school pool, of which people in the community and school can purchase keys for and use.
