KMSD Digital Literacy

Digital Literacy* is embedded daily in the Kettle Moraine School District. While students do not spend the entire day using computers to learn, digital tools may be utilized during part of their school day to complement teacher instruction. It is important to prepare our students to be responsible, safe and respectful digital citizens. This website gives an overview of our learning targets and helpful tips for parents. Using online tools responsibly helps support our KM Graduate Profile.

*According to Hiller Spires, a professor of literacy and technology at North Carolina State University, digital literacy is defined as finding and consuming digital content, creating digital content, and communicating or sharing it.
