Strengthening Thai–India Academic Collaboration

KMITL executives warmly welcomed delegates from the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Chennai and the Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras) to discuss opportunities for deeper collaboration in education and research. The meeting focused on advancing academic excellence to support sustainable economic and social development in both Thailand and India.

The visiting delegation included Mr. Panutaj Rasmidatta, Consul, Royal Thai Consulate-General, Chennai; Prof. Balaji Srinivasan, Department of Data Science and AI, IIT Madras; and Ms. Priya Venkat, Global Engagement, IIT Madras.

KMITL was led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Pitcha Prasitmeeboon, Vice President for International Affairs, together with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kanoknuch Songsuwankit, Vice Dean, School of Engineering, and Prof. Dr. Kitsuchart Pasupa, Deputy Dean, School of Information Technology.
