KMITL and Sports Authority of Thailand Join Forces to Advance Sports Science in Thailand

On May 22, 2025, King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL) and the Sports Authority of Thailand (SAT) officially signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on academic cooperation to drive forward research and innovation in sports science.
The MoU was signed by:
Asst. Prof. Thitiphan Tritakarn – Vice President for Student Affairs and Alumni Relations, KMITL
Asst. Prof. Dr. Thanawan Pinrat – Vice President for General Administration, KMITL
Dr. Kongsak Yodmanee – Governor of the Sports Authority of Thailand
The signing took place at Meeting Room 1, 6th Floor, Chalermprakiat Building, 7th Cycle Birthday Anniversary, SAT Headquarters.
This partnership aims to:
Advance education and research in sports science
Support elite and professional sports development in Thailand
Promote sustainable health and well-being of athletes and the general public
Encourage innovation in sports engineering, sports nutrition, and sports-related food and beverage product development
The collaboration sets the stage for developing new technologies and business models in sports, with the ambition to position Thailand as a global leader in the sports industry.
