Dec 2024- Performing orchestra at the 78th annual Midwest Band and Orchestra Clinic, Chicago, IL!
Sept 2023- Foundation for Music Education Commended Winner in the National Mark of Excellence award!
July 2023- Krimmel Full Orchestra 2nd place at the 2023 Texas MEA Full Orchestra Honors Competition!
April 2023- Inaugural Krimmel Full Symphony Orchestra performs at UIL for all 1's Sweepstakes!
April 2023- Chamber, Symphony orchestra earn all 1's (sweepstakes) at UIL
March 2023- NATIONAL GRAND CHAMPIONS at the America String Teachers Association national conference in Orlando, FL as part of the National Orchestra Festival!
April 2022- Chamber, Symphony, and Philharmonic orchestras earn all 1's (sweepstakes) at UIL concert and sight reading!
March 2022- Chamber, Symphony, Philharmonic orchestra earn superior ratings at the Ann C. Roberts orchestra festival!
Feb/April 2022- Over 100 students earned division 1 ratings at our solo festival competition!
Nov 2021- Krimmel record placement in Region IX honor orchestra festival, and third highest participation in our region!
Krimmel Chamber Orchestra earns Commended Winner in the Foundation for Music Education's Mark of Excellence award!
The Krimmel Chamber Orchestra was awarded as a Commended Winner in the 2023 Mark of Excellence National String Orchestra Honors Competition! This is the first time in Krimmel Orchestra history we have receive this award, and we are only one of two Klein schools to receive this honor!
The Mark of Excellence project seeks to recognize and award outstanding achievement in performance by high school and middle school bands, choirs, orchestras, jazz bands and percussion ensembles. The project gathers entries from throughout the United States which allows ensembles to compare their performance quality to other outstanding groups from across the country. Winners are recognized in national publications and conventions. We are so proud of our Krimmel Orchestra Knights!
Krimmel Full Orchestra Earns 2nd place at TMEA Honors Orchestra Competition
Our Krimmel Full Orchestra (winds and strings) earned 2nd place at the TMEA Honors Orchestra Competition. This places our orchestra as the second best in the State of Texas! Students submitted recordings which were judged blind and publically at our TMEA Summer Convention this past July. Congrats to all involved on this HUGE accomplishment!
Chamber and Symphony Orchestra earn SWEEPSTAKES at UIL 2023!
