Tiffany Webb is the Director of Orchestras at Krimmel Intermediate and is now in her seventh year at the school. She is especially proud of the Krimmel Chamber Orchestra, which was named Grand Champion at the 2023 American String Teachers Association Conference in Orlando, Florida. The ensemble also earned a second place finish in the TMEA Honor Full Orchestra Competition. In 2024, the Krimmel Chamber Orchestra performed at the Midwest Band and Orchestra Clinic as a featured chamber orchestra. With 17 years of experience as a UIL adjudicator, Ms. Webb regularly participates in UIL Concert and Sight-Reading Evaluations as well as UIL Solo and Ensemble Contests.
Ms. Webb graduated from South Houston High School in 1995, where she studied orchestra with Charlotte Eads. She went on to attend Sam Houston State University, graduating Summa Cum Laude in 2000. During her time at SHSU, she studied with cello professor Dr. Peter Kempter and performed with the Sam Houston State University Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Dr. Carol Smith. She also served as an officer in the Sigma Alpha Iota music fraternity for women and was consistently named to the university’s President’s List for academic achievement.
After graduating, Ms. Webb taught for ten years at Kleb Intermediate in Klein ISD. As head director, her students earned consecutive UIL Sweepstakes Awards, were named Best in Class at the Galveston Isle Orchestra Festival, and were invited to perform at various events throughout the greater Houston area. Her ensembles ranked among the best in the state in the Texas Music Educators Association Honor Orchestra competition, and many of her students continued on to perform with the Klein High School Orchestra, which was also named a TMEA Honor Orchestra.
In 2007, Ms. Webb earned her Master’s Degree in Educational Administration from the University of St. Thomas, graduating Summa Cum Laude. After her time in Klein ISD, she worked as an Educational Service Representative at Fishburn Violin Shop, where she gained experience in instrument repair, instrument making, and the business side of music, while also collaborating with orchestra directors across the state. She later served as assistant orchestra director at James E. Taylor High School in Katy ISD alongside Clint Capshaw. During her five years at Taylor High School, both the Chamber Orchestra and Symphony Orchestra consistently advanced to the final round of the TMEA Honor Orchestra Competition, placing the program among the top ten in Texas. In 2018, Ms. Webb had the honor of conducting the Taylor Orchestra on the Carnegie Hall stage in New York. She currently resides in Spring, Texas with her husband.
Stephen Cook

Stephen Cook serves as the Assistant Director of Orchestras at Krimmel Intermediate in Klein ISD and is currently in his sixth year at the school. He also serves as the Fine Arts Department Chair and the Intermediate Orchestra Professional Development Facilitator for the district. Prior to these roles, he was the Director of Orchestras and Associate Director of Bands at William R. Boone High School in Orlando, Florida from 2014 to 2021. In recognition of his contributions, Mr. Cook was named the 2023–24 Teacher of the Year for Krimmel Intermediate.
A native of Metro Detroit, Mr. Cook holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Michigan State University. During his time there, he performed with several major ensembles, including the MSU Wind Symphony, the MSU Symphony Orchestra, and Musique 21, the university’s contemporary music ensemble. He studied clarinet with Dr. Caroline Hartig and Professor Theodore Oien, principal clarinetist of the Detroit Symphony Orchestra.
Mr. Cook began his teaching career with student teaching placements at Pioneer Middle School and Plymouth High School in Plymouth, Michigan. During his time at Boone High School, he grew the orchestra program from 35 to more than 90 students. In 2020, the Chamber Strings ensemble was awarded the Orlando Philharmonic’s Orchestra of Distinction, a recognition given annually to one school in Central Florida.
Since joining Krimmel Intermediate, Mr. Cook has focused on continuing to grow and strengthen the program. The Krimmel Chamber Orchestra was named National Grand Champion at the 2023 ASTA National Orchestra Festival in Orlando, Florida, and his ensembles consistently earn sweepstakes ratings at UIL competitions. The Krimmel Full Orchestra earned a second place finish in the 2024 TMEA Honor Full Orchestra Competition. In 2024, the Krimmel Orchestra performed at the Midwest Band and Orchestra Clinic as a featured chamber orchestra, with a performance that included Grammy nominated soprano Lindsay Kesselman.
Outside of school, Mr. Cook enjoys traveling, running, exploring new coffee shops, and cooking. He is committed to supporting and inspiring the students of the Krimmel Orchestra as a member of the Klein ISD Fine Arts team.
