Tiffany Webb is a 1995 graduate of South Houston High School where she was an orchestra student of Charlotte Eads. In 2000, Ms. Webb graduated Summa Cum Laude from Sam Houston State University. While attending SHSU, she studied with cello professor Dr. Peter Kempter and played in the Sam Houston State University Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Dr. Carol Smith. In addition, Ms. Webb was an officer of the Sigma Alpha Iota music fraternity for women and was consecutively named to the university’s President’s List of academic achievement.
Upon graduating from SHSU, Ms. Webb taught ten years at Kleb Intermediate in Klein ISD. While head director at Kleb Intermediate, Ms. Webb’s students earned consecutive UIL Sweepstakes Awards, were named Best in Class at the Galveston Isle Orchestra Festival, were invited to perform various events in the greater Houston area, ranked among the best in the state in the Texas Music Educators’ Association (TMEA) Honor Orchestra competition for Texas, and the majority continued to play in the Klein High School Orchestra which was named TMEA Honor Orchestra.
In 2007, Ms. Webb graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Masters’ Degree in Educational Administration from the University of St. Thomas. Following her years in Klein ISD, Ms. Webb served as an Educational Service Representative at Fishburn Violin Shop where she learned much about instrument repair, instrument making and various instrument makers, the “business side” of music, and was provided the opportunity to work with many orchestra directors around the state. Next in her career, she worked with Clint Capshaw as the assistant orchestra director at James E. Taylor HS, Katy ISD. During her five years at Taylor HS, the Chamber Orchestra and the Symphony Orchestra consistently placed in the final round of the TMEA Honor Orchestra Competition, making the THS orchestra program one of the top 10 in Texas. In 2018, Ms. Webb had the honor of conducting the Taylor Orchestra on the gorgeous Carnegie Hall Stage in New York. Ms. Webb, in 2020, returned to Klein ISD as the head orchestra director at Krimmel Intermediate.
The Krimmel Intermediate Chamber Orchestra, in 2023, was invited to Orlando, FL to compete at the National Orchestra Festival, in association with American String Teachers Association. The Krimmel Chamber orchestra was named National Grand Champions, bringing prestigious national recognition to the Krimmel Intermediate Orchestra Program and Klein, ISD. Following Krimmel Chamber Orchestra’s nationally award-winning performance, in Orlando, The Foundation for Music Education - Mark of Excellence Competition awarded Krimmel Chamber Orchestra a 2023 Commended Winner Award. In addition, the Krimmel Intermediate Symphony Orchestra, comprised of the Krimmel Intermediate Chamber Orchestra and members of the Krimmel Intermediate Symphonic Wind Ensemble earned the honor of placing first runner up in the 2024 Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA) Honor Full Orchestra Competition.
Ms. Webb is an active UIL adjudicator, of 18 years, around the state, for UIL Concert and Sight-reading Evaluation and UIL Solo and Ensemble Contests. Ms. Webb resides in Spring, TX with her husband. This is Ms. Webb’s fourth year at Krimmel Intermediate. GO KRIMMEL KNIGHTS!
Stephen Cook

Stephen Cook currently serves as the Assistant Director of Orchestras at Krimmel Intermediate in Klein Independent School District (Klein ISD), where he is also the Fine Arts Department Chair and the Intermediate Orchestra Professional Development Facilitator for the district. Before these roles, he was the Director of Orchestras and Associate Director of Bands at William R. Boone High School in Orlando, Florida, from 2014 to 2021. In recognition of his outstanding contributions, Mr. Cook was named the 2023-24 Teacher of the Year for Krimmel Intermediate.
A native of Metro-Detroit, Mr. Cook holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Michigan State University. During his time at Michigan State, he was actively involved in several prestigious ensembles, including the MSU Wind Symphony, the MSU Symphony Orchestra, and Musique 21, the university's contemporary music ensemble. Mr. Cook studied clarinet under the guidance of renowned soloist Dr. Caroline Hartig and Professor Theodore Oien, the principal clarinetist of the Detroit Symphony Orchestra.
Mr. Cook began his teaching career by student teaching at Pioneer Middle School in Plymouth, Michigan, under director Karen Tharp, and at Plymouth High School with Directors Dave Armbruster and Jon Thomann. His leadership at Boone High School saw the orchestra program grow from 35 to over 90 students. In 2020, the Chamber Strings ensemble received the Orlando Philharmonic’s “Orchestra of Distinction” award, a prestigious honor given to one school annually in Central Florida following a rigorous application process.
Since joining Krimmel Intermediate, Mr. Cook has dedicated himself to growing and enhancing the program. The Krimmel Chamber Orchestra was named National Grand Champions at the 2023 ASTA National Orchestra Festival in Orlando, Florida. His orchestras consistently receive sweepstakes ratings at UIL competitions. The Krimmel Full Orchestra earned a 2nd place rating in the TMEA Honor Full Orchestra Competition.
Outside of his professional responsibilities, Mr. Cook enjoys traveling, running, discovering new coffee shops, and cooking. He remains committed to inspiring and educating the exceptional students of the Krimmel Orchestra as a proud member of the Klein ISD Arts Team.
