Memory Songs

What are Memory Songs?

Each student, from kindergarten to fifth grade, learns a memory song for every nine-week grading period. It is from these songs that our Frank Flyers learn different musical elements, from tapping a steady beat to writing sixteenth note combinations.

Our Frank Flyers learn to sing their memory song, as well as tap the beat, tap the rhythm while singing rhythm syllables, sign the solfege while singing solfege syllables, write the melody on the staff, and even play it on an instrument. Look below if you are curious about our Memory Songs for this year!
