Student Requirements
Student Requirements
Students must be enrolled in a Klein ISD school
Kindergarten and First Grade students must meet the state law age requirements:
To accelerate to First Grade the student must be 5 years old by September 1st
To accelerate to Second Grade the student must be 6 years old by September 1st
No prior instruction in the course
Students in homeless or substitute care shall be provided an opportunity to take the CBE at any point during the school year.

Campus staff members enter student's information once students/families have submitted their registration request. This step is required in order to notify the testing office which exam to order for students.
