Presentation Guidelines

The following guidelines provide important information for oral and poster presenters at KICSS 2025, held in Nagaoka, Japan, from December 3–5, 2025.

🗣️ Oral Presentation

Oral sessions include both Long and Short presentations.
Please check the conference program to confirm your assigned type and session.

🔹 Long Presentation

• Total Time: 30 minutes (20 minutes presentation + 10 minutes Q&A)

🔹 Short Presentation

• Total Time: 20 minutes (15 minutes presentation + 5 minutes Q&A)

🔹 Common Guidelines for Oral Presentations

• Language: English

• Equipment:

  • A projector, screen, and microphone are available in each session room.

  • You may bring your own laptop (HDMI connection).

  • Please test your slides before your session begins.
    
    

• Before Your Session:

  • Arrive at your session room at least 10 minutes early.

  • Introduce yourself to the Session Chair.

• Session Flow:

  • The Session Chair will keep time strictly to ensure smooth transitions.

  • The Q&A will follow each presentation.

🖼️ Poster Presentation

• Presentation Time: 60-minute interactive session.

• Poster Size: A0 (841 mm × 1189 mm), portrait orientation.

• Language: English

• Setup & Removal:

  • Posters should be displayed before the session begins and removed immediately after the session ends.

  • Mounting materials (pins or tapes) will be provided at the venue.

• During the Session:

  • Presenters are expected to stand by their posters throughout the session for discussion with attendees.

💻 Technical Information

• Computer & Connection:

  • Each room will have a computer with HDMI input.

  • You may also use your own laptop (please bring necessary adapters).

• Internet: Wi-Fi will be available for presenters.

• Video or Audio: If your presentation includes video or sound, test it before the session starts.
