Paper Submission

 Important Notes

• All manuscripts (proceedings full papers and poster papers)  must be submitted online.

• The full paper must be submitted for review and must follow the prescribed formatting instructions.

• Double-blind review is applied. All submissions must be anonymized, omitting author names, affiliations, and identifying information.

• For each accepted paper, at least one author must register and present the paper at the conference for it to be included in the proceedings.

• Papers currently under review elsewhere may not be submitted.

However, authors may submit the same paper concurrently to the special issue
[[Special  DK]  ISS Symposium (KICSS2025) and Transactions Concurrent Review System] in IEICE Transactions on Information and Systems, if desired.

In this case, the paper will be reviewed independently from KICSS2025, and if accepted, published as a letter/full-paper in IEICE Transactions.
Please note that the acceptance decisions may differ between KICSS2025 and IEICE.
If the paper is accepted by both, it will not be published in the KICSS2025 proceedings.
The publication fees for IEICE Transactions will be the responsibility of each author.

Types of Submissions

• We welcome two types of submissions:

  1. Main Track, for oral presentations (Full Papers)

  2. Poster Presentation, for poster presentations (Extended Abstracts)

  3. Invited Session [Information Technology for Creativity], for oral presentations (Full Papers)

Concurrent Submission (Optional – only available for Full Paper submissions)

• Please select "[Special DK] ISS Symposium (KICSS2025) and Transactions Concurrent Review System" for Journal/Section

• Important: Even if you choose concurrent submission, EasyChair submission is mandatory. Please submit the same manuscript file as submitted to KICSS2025. Kindly ensure that your submission for IEICE journal includes the editable files, such as the PDF containing the author names and the original source files. 

• Publication Fee: For IEICE Transactions (a Full Paper Letters), publication fees vary depending on the number of pages and submission format (Word/LaTeX)

Page Limit

• There is no strict page limit, but the average length is approximately 8 pages (using the template). 

• Final Adjustment: Final page count subject to formatting adjustments after acceptance

Submission Guidelines for Anonymous Review

• To ensure double-blind peer review, please upload a manuscript PDF without author names, author bios, or author photos.

• (For editorial use, a version including author information will also be required.) Important: Do not include author names in your manuscript (for anonymous review)

1. Prepare manuscript using official templates (no author names)

2. Submit via EasyChair (mandatory)

3. If desired, submit concurrently to IEICE Transactions (a Full Paper Letter) (check publication fee details in PDF beforehand)
