We are proud of our pupils at King James Academy and we believe that pride in themselves as learners starts with looking smart. We hope our models below help with supporting and encouraging your child to wear the correct uniform to school each day.
Jack is wearing:
A navy blue round-neck sweater with our school logo.
Underneath this, he has his white polo shirt on. If he isn't removing his sweater, there is no need for this to be branded. If he is, we would ask that the polo shirt has the King James logo on it (logos to attach to polo shirts can be purchased from the Primary Site office!)
He is also wearing his plain, grey trousers. Alternatively, he may choose to wear grey knee-length shorts too!
Finally, completing his smart uniform, Jack is wearing black leather-look shoes. Footwear should not black sports trainers. If you have any questions about footwear, please speak to your child's class teacher who will be happy to help!
Jill is wearing:
A white King James Academy polo shirt which she has tucked in so that she looks smart (logos can be purchased from the Primary Site school office to attach to plain polo shirts.)
A grey, knee-length skirt. It is important this is not a clingy material or made from a stretch fabric.
Like Jack, she is also wearing smart, leather-look shoes.
Neither of our models are wearing any items of jewellery and the only items that should be worn are watches (these are optional!).
If ears have been pierced recently, transparent studs should be worn instead of metal studs. If transparent studs cannot be worn after ears have been pierced, the studs must be taped at home each day until transparent studs can be worn.
Pupils shouldn't wear any make-up including nail varnish or artificial nails.
