Please see our calendar for key dates and bulletin section for key updates!
We recognise that communication between home and school is incredibly important in ensuring your child has a happy and positive experience of school.
Our aim is for all communication to be: CLEAR (clearly and succinctly written);
TIMELY (shared to you in good time);
ACCURATE (containing all key information required).
To ensure you feel a part of your child's experiences and education in school, we use:
Class Dojo - this provides simple updates from each class, quick news and information and also allows you to share in the activities and fun your child has been experiencing in school.
Our website - for those who are not signed up to Class Dojo, class blogs are available via our website (see Class Pages). We also share our primary calendar to allow you to see key dates and events coming up, bulletin news (see Latest News and Updates) and information about our curriculum.
Our newsletter - this goes out every 2 weeks and brings together all that has taken place in school as well as looking ahead to what's coming up in the next 2 weeks.
In this way, we hope that you feel as well informed as possible about your child's time in school. However, if you need an answer to a question, your child's class teacher can always be contacted either via email or by Class Dojo. You may prefer to speak to a member of staff on the gate in the morning/afternoon or to our office team. Primary.admin@kjar.org.uk is also a great way to get in touch.
We are always appreciative of feedback. If you have any suggestions about what may improve our communication approach, we would be very pleased to hear from you.
