In an exciting adventure, Year 1 students visited the National Museum of Uganda. With a friendly guide by their side, they explored amazing exhibits, like ancient artifacts and colorful animals. This delightful trip left the young adventurers with a deeper appreciation for the country's history and the wonders of its natural world. Ms Sharif.
In a heartwarming event, the big Year 6 kids came to visit the Year 1 gang. They brought along their favorite books and turned into reading superheroes for the younger ones. With wide eyes and big grins, the Year 1 kids listened to exciting stories. It was like a magical book club where everyone felt like one big family. This special day made reading fun and brought the two groups closer together, creating awesome memories and new friendships. Ms Sharif.
On October 19, 2023, our Year 2 students represented KISU at the Maths Day Celebration event hosted by Heritage International School. They made us proud with their teamwork, excellent behavior, and great thinking skills. All of them walked away from the event with a well-deserved certificate!
Diary Entry from a Year 2 Student: Thursday 19th October 2023.
Dear Diary,
I had so much fun at Maths Day today! In the morning, me and my friends went to Heritage International School. I was so excited to go to Heritage! We all went on the bus except Ida. But we all had so much fun! When we reached the lovely Heritage, it was snack time. When we were done with snack, we played so many games.
My favourite part was lunch! We ate chicken pizza and plain pizza, banana cake, popcorn. cucumber sticks and carrot sticks. It was so yummy!
I want to go back for another Maths Day! Ms Nsherura.
