Leading by Example: Our DP1 students shine! 

Our DP1 students have seamlessly transitioned into the IB Programme, showcasing an impressive level of adaptability and enthusiasm. They have effortlessly embraced the rigorous academic challenges and embody the principles of the IB learner profile, setting an excellent example for their peers. They have actively taken part in the Creativity, Activity, Service (CAS) component of the IB, demonstrating their commitment to personal and social growth. Initiatives such as fundraising for their CAS Project highlight their dedication to making a positive impact within our school and wider community.

Exploring potential futures: DP2 students careers fair and university outreach

Our DP2 students, on the other hand, have been diligently preparing for the future. They recently attended a Careers Fair at the Golf Course Hotel, where they had the invaluable opportunity to interact with representatives from universities around the world. These interactions opened up exciting avenues for their post-secondary education, allowing them to explore options in Canada, the UK, Asia, South Africa, and Europe.

Simultaneously, the DP2 students have just completed the first draft of their Extended Essays. This marks a significant milestone in their academic journey, requiring extensive research, critical thinking, and independent analysis. Their progress in this area is a testament to their dedication and the outstanding support of our faculty.

Furthermore, they have initiated the process of considering their university options, a pivotal decision that will shape their future careers. It's heartening to see our students taking these crucial steps towards their dreams and aspirations.

As we celebrate the achievements of our DP1 and DP2 students, we must also acknowledge the unwavering support of our teachers and the dedication of our school community. Together, we create an environment where academic excellence, personal growth, and global awareness thrive.

IB Professional Development 

We are proud to announce that several teachers have been actively engaged in rigorous IB subject-specific training for the last four weeks to enhance their expertise in the curriculum. This specialised training not only strengthens their understanding of the IB framework but also equips them with the latest pedagogical approaches, ensuring that they are well-prepared to guide our students on their IB journey. By continuously investing in the professional development of our educators, we aim to provide a richer and more enriching learning experience, ultimately empowering our students to excel academically and grow into informed global citizens.
