This term, our topic has been "I can make a difference." In this topic, we have looked at the global processes that connect our world, such as the ocean conveyor belt and the water cycle. We used the global processes to then think about how connected our planet is and, therefore, how all of us must tackle today's great issues, such as global warming/climate change.
Daniella from 6SDJ was so inspired that she went home and started her own recycling project, where she turned everyday rubbish into art. Here she is showing the class her latest design of her bedroom made from a Pringles container!

What's the Crime, Mr. Wolf?
The Year 3 and Year 4 students at KISU have been working hard to prepare for a production of the play "What's the Crime, Mr. Wolf?" It is a musical story centred on the trial of the Big Bad Wolf. While delving into the play script, the students have learned about the powers of persuasion and the rules of debate.
What makes this performance special is that the audience is actively involved. After hearing the witnesses' testimonies and seeing the evidence, the audience (who play the part of the jury) will decide whether the wolf is guilty or just misunderstood. We invite you to take part on Wednesday, March 6th, at 5:00 p.m. in our KISU auditorium.
