Dear Parents and Guardians,
As we navigate through another enriching term at KISU, I am delighted to share some of the wonderful milestones and updates that continue to shape our vibrant school community.
First and foremost, I would like to celebrate the resounding success of our recent Maths Day. It was truly inspiring to witness the enthusiasm and engagement of our students as they delved into the world of mathematics through a variety of creative and interactive activities. The success of Maths Day is a testament to the importance we place on mathematics and numeracy within our curriculum. Mathematics is not just a subject; it is a critical tool that equips our students with the problem-solving, logical reasoning, and analytical skills essential for success in any career path they choose to pursue. The day underscored our commitment to fostering a love for learning and highlighting the joy and relevance of mathematics in our everyday lives.
In the spirit of embracing new beginnings and strengthening our administrative team, I am pleased to introduce Ms Fiona Mpumwire as the new Office Manager and Executive Assistant to the Director. Ms Mpumwire brings a wealth of experience and a fresh perspective to our team, and we are thrilled to have her on board. I am confident that she will contribute significantly to the smooth operation of our school and the enhancement of our community engagement. Ms Fiona can be contacted via the same email and phone number previously used by Ms Rose.
Speaking of Ms Rose, I am delighted to share that she is now enjoying more time to spend with her husband, following her transition from her role. We are incredibly grateful for her years of dedicated service and commitment to our school community. She has left big shoes to fill, but we are confident that Ms Fiona will carry on the legacy of excellence that Ms Rose has been a part of.
Lastly, I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to you, our parents and guardians, for entrusting us with the development and education of your children. It is a responsibility we do not take lightly, and we are committed to providing an environment that nurtures their growth, curiosity, and well-being. Your support and collaboration are invaluable to us, and I welcome all constructive feedback as we strive to achieve our shared goals.
Together, we are not just building a school; we are nurturing future leaders, innovators, and citizens who will make a positive impact in the world. Thank you for being an integral part of this journey.
Warm regards,
Lee Wilson
School Director.
