ISSAK Senior Swim Gala
What a fantastic day of swimming from all the schools that participated! KISU were up against it from the start due to the majority of our swimmers being away on MUN duty in Dubai but nonetheless a team was formed, and wow, what a performance by all! Determination and resilience were key factors in our student’s success and showed what they are capable of throughout the competition. Performances were of the highest standard and the team held together in what was an exceptionally tiring event for all. Performance of the day was the girls team who came second overall pushing schools such Rainbow and Heritage into 3rd and 4th respectively. The boys team performed admirably in finishing 4th in what was a difficult competition. KISU finished 4th overall but I believe with the whole complement of swimmers we would have finished higher. Let me reiterate though…. the performance on the day for our Developmental squad was nothing more than stunning and I am so very proud of them!
Onwards and upwards as I say, a fantastic effort from all our swimmers and a very well done!
Under 9 and Under 11 Boys and Girls Football v Heritage
What a stunning set of results!! All teams performed above and beyond and I could not have been more proud. All students were a credit to the school in both behavior and etiquette. Big smiles after wins and draws is what I love to see!!!
Under 13 Boys Basketball
With the opportunity of going to finals the U13 boys had 2 extremely difficult away matches to contend with at 7 Hills and at Rainbow International School. There were 5 schools vying for 2 Finals spots and it came down to the last game of the season with KISU being narrowly defeated 33 to 31 and unfortunately did not progress. The boys have had an excellent season and battled hard and there is definitely room for both development and improvement but I cannot fault them in all their endeavors to reach finals this year. Let’s move on an be better, stronger and more prepared for next season. A very well done.

U16 Girls Football Team; A Season of Growth and Determination
This season may not have delivered the wins we hoped for, but it delivered something equally powerful: resilience, commitment, and tremendous growth.
Our U16 Girls Football Team narrowly lost all their matches, yet the scorelines do not reflect the progress made. In every game, the girls showed determination, discipline, and a fighting spirit that carried them to the final whistle. Their attitude and perseverance have been outstanding.
The season came with challenges. Some players travelled to Dubai to represent the school at Model United Nations, while our Year 11 students balanced football alongside the demands of Mock examinations. Despite this, whenever they were present in school, they remained committed to both training sessions and matches. Their dedication speaks volumes about their character.
Since the start of the season, the team has made significant improvements in tactical awareness, communication, fitness, confidence in possession, and overall teamwork. Special recognition goes to Daniella O, Abigail K, and Camille for scoring the most goals this season and providing attacking momentum for the team.
This was truly a collective effort. The squad included:
Year 11: Camille, Emma, Nileah, Victoire
Year 10: Abigail, Tiffany
Year 9: Daniella O, Lisa, Agasha, Ngarijok, Myra, Abigail M.
We sincerely thank our parents for their unwavering support and encouragement. A special appreciation goes to Coach Sharon for her guidance, preparation, and belief in the girls throughout the season.
We are proud of this team. The foundation is strong, and the future is bright.
