Learn about our teacher and receive a brief introduction to the course.
Do Now (5 minutes)
Grab the handout at the entrance of the classroom.
Take 5 minutes answering the questions on the paper
Introduction (10 minutes)
Activity: (10 minutes)
Four Corners
Every student will stand up and group up in the center
The teacher will come up with a series of questions to get to know you
When the question is asked, the teacher will assign each corner to be an option
You will walk towards the corner that you relate to the most
You will then be give 30 seconds to talk to each other about your similarities
Questions:
What is your favorite food?
What is your favorite genre of music?
What is your career goal?
What is your dream travel destination?
Reflection (10 minutes)
What do you think is the purpose of this activity?
What are some similarities that you discovered about your classmate?
