In this unit we will explore how to interpret a data set with two variables. We will learn key terms like correlation and linear regression and how those math concepts are used to analyze a data set and make predictions.
This is a very short unit and will cover 3 objectives.
Your quiz will be one summative grade.
You will have two mastery checks and 1 homework assignment.
In this lesson we will learn about how to describe correlation. First we discribe the direction (positive or negative) then we describe the strength (weak or negative). There are a few other types such as perfect, zero, and moderate. Make sure you watch the whole video and take notes on page 62.

The mastery check is in Google classroom title Lesson 3.1 Mastery check. It is a formative grade.
In this lesson you will learn how to find the equation of the regression line. the regression line equation is in the form y=ax+b . Your calculate steps are on page 63 in you need a visual on how to enter your data.
we practice lesson 3.1 and 3.2 by completing our 12 tasks cards on page 64 as well as our homework on page 65 and 66.
Your mastery check is on our bulletin board and also posted in Google Classroom if you need a visual. It is a formative grade.
